St Mary & St John Churchyard is a 2 acre Victorian landscaped cemetery, formerly derelict, but restored by voluntary effort to be an attractive, wildlife space in a busy urban area. While maintaining access to the graves, the aim is to encourage a variety of habitats, keeping invasive plants under control, and to survey the wildlife, monitoring changes over time.
