Maids Moreton Avenue
> 1 Event at this locationBTCV volunteering opportunities are available on this site. Maids Moreton Avenue is a beautiful woodland avenue that consists mostly of beech, lime and horse chestnuts. It was retained as a feature of the Page Hill development, closely borded on both sides by housing. It is believed that Maids Moreton Avenue was planted in the early 19th Century by Rev. Long of Maids Moreton because it led from his rectory at Maids Moreton to Buckinhgam. The Avenue became a popular local Sunday walk. The trees within the avenue have matured and become a woodland habitat.
