The carpark is situated alongside the Grey mare's tail waterfall. The waterfall is best seen in the wetter weather and the roar of the water fall as it tumbles over boulders can be easily heard from the comfort of the car. The carpark is also a good starting point for the talnotry trail and the striking Murry's Monument.
