Above Ottery St Mary the woodlands of East Hill stretch out for some four miles. Stunning views westward over the Otter Vale are assured from the many vantage points along the ridge. A road runs the length of East Hill allowing you to enjoy some of the scenery from the comfort of your own car if you do not want to explore the forest on foot. Popular with horse riders, cyclists, recreational joggers and local orienteering groups, it is an ideal place for a weekend walk.
