Enjoy British wildlife and find nature walks and wildlife events at Troopers Hill.
Troopers Hill Local Nature Reserve in St. George, East Bristol, is on a hillside overlooking the River Avon. The hill has been quarried and mined in the past and contains a fascinating mix of history, wild plants and animals. With heather and broom, rocky crags, spoil heaps and gullies, stunning views and 2 listed chimneys it is one of the most spectacular wildlife spots in the city. Troopers Hill has been awarded a Green Flag for each of the last 3 years. Only one other site in Bristol, Clifton Downs, has achieved the same number of Green Flags.
Partner: Friends of Troopers Hill
