Troopers Hill in St. George, East Bristol, is on a hillside overlooking the River Avon. With heather and broom, rocky crags, spoil heaps and gullies, stunning views and 2 listed chimneys it is one of the most spectacular wildlife spots in the city.In 2007 Troopers Hill was awarded a Green Flag. Only one other site in Bristol, Clifton Downs holds this award. The site will be judged again this year for a 2008 Green Flag.
