Orchard maintenance

Organised by: Downlands Countryside Management Project
Come and join our regular group of volunteers to maintain the orchard at Banstead Woods. We will be continuing with work started previously including building tree guards and clearing vegetation in preparation for grazing.
- Meeting point: Meet at Park Farm car park, off Holly Lane. TQ266583
- What we provide: We provide tea, coffee, squash, biscuits, tools, gloves and informal training.
- What to bring: Please bring waterproofs and a packed lunch, wear old clothes and stout boots - walking boots are ideal.
- Age group: Adults and children at secondary school (11 to 18)
- Registration: Not required
- Further info: Volunteers can meet us on site or can be picked up the back of Purley train station at 9.45am - please ring to arrange this. Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
